It’s fair to say that most of the Homestead Resort was built by Paul Maurer General Contracting. PMGC started working with Bob Kuras, the owner, in 1980 remodeling Tall Timbers, the original condominium buildings located on Lake Michigan when Bob purchased the property in 1973. Today, the Homestead is a community of condominiums, private residences, recreational facilities, restaurants, a wedding facility, and a resort hotel tucked into 350 acres of rolling, beautiful woodlands, and is surrounded by the pristine Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.

The photos displayed on our website are but a very small cross section of the various projects PMGC has completed here, but should give you the flavor for the architectural style that is inherently “The Homestead”.
