Paul MaurerPresident and Owner
Paul started his company in 1979 and is still active in all aspects of the business today. He is currently a Board member with the Michigan Association of Home Builders and MCIM (Michigan Construction Industry Mutual) Insurance of Michigan, Florida and Wisconsin. Paul is also a past President of the Traverse City Home Builders Association. He is the father of three wonderful children, two of whom, Brian and Ben, work in the company.
Brian MaurerProject Manager/Estimator
Brian is a lifelong Leelanau County native. He graduated from Albion College in 2003 with a degree in Communications. Brian started working for his Dad when he was 14 and was promoted to management in 2005.
Kim WeeseJob Superintendent
Kim joined PMGC originally as a framing carpenter, was later promoted to framing foreman, and has been Job Superintendent for the past 15 years. He oversees each project from design phase to occupancy. He works closely with owners and coordinates job schedules to ensure that the entire process runs smoothly. Kim believes in making the experience of building a new home as enjoyable and rewarding as possible for the homeowners.
Larry Weese:PMGC Master Cabinetmaker
Larry joined PMGC in 1980 when there were only five employees. He has worked in every phase of the construction process, but his real talent is with his mastery of the tools in the woodshop. Creating the visualizations of architects, designers, and clients is his forte, but building boats from cedar has become his passion. Don AlfredEstimator
Don has worked with PMGC since January 2011. Growing up in a construction family and learning the craft in his father's business,Don studied architecture atLawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan. He maintains both a construction and architectural background and has worked in both disciplines. At PMGC,he has worked on a variety of different projects,all varied in scope, utilizing his broad knowledge of residential construction practices and procedures. Don has been involved with residential home projects ranging in size from 3,000-35,000 square feet and has 20 years of cumulative residential experience.
Bill KluzakController
Bill has worked for Paul since 1994. He is a graduate of NMC and Ferris State University. Born and raised in Traverse City, Bill has been married to his wife, Linda, for 30 years. They have two sons, Jason, 25, and Josh, 18. Bill has been a Kiwanis Club member for 14 years. In his spare time, he enjoys boating, jeeping, traveling, camping and the beach.

Dave was born in Grand Rapids, went through Building Trades in high school, and has been involved in the construction industry ever since. He has lived in the Grand Traverse area since 1970. Dave became a Licensed Michigan Builder in 1996. His specialties include windows and doors, from assembly to field repair and replacement. Dave has been married to his wife for 15 years and has three daughters.
